So I quite like the look of HIDs but cant be arsed fitting them as apparenty there not a straight fit to the gsxrs, you need some kind of spacer which is difficult to source (though can be had in the US easily) alternatively you can bodge it. (not an option)

I generally dont ride in the dark anyway so im not really going to benefit from HIDs , I just wanted the cool white effect light.

So bought some 'ice white' replacement bulbs on egay - 2 for £6.95 and came with a pair of free LED ice effect sidelight bulbs.

The effect is quite nice - looks a lot more modern than the horrible yellow/orange standard arrangement.

I considered changing the high beam but I cant think of a time when I ever use high beam so that would be a waste of money. I dont like wasting money.
I also considered taking a 'before' picture. But I didnt. So youl just have to take my word for it. Meh.

Thumbs Up

No worries, one thing I noticed is slightly less light output. So probably more of a 'downgrade' if your using your headlight to see in the dark Shifty
But if you just want it for the tart factor like myself then its all gravy. Thumbs Up

Same voltage same wattage as the standard bulb so I would say no. To be honest all it is really is a standard bulb with a clear blue paint around the glass, think the blue against the yellow creates the white effect light.
Like I said I reckon these are actually a little dimmer than standard items. So if its MOOAAAR POWRE youre after id look at a HID conversion. Thumbs Up

I had these before I did the HID conversion, actually I still have one as my high beam.

They look pretty cool but as Swift said the output is slightly dimmer, one of mine died then came back to life Laughing
