Hi all, had a spill last week on an icy roundabout. Slid down the road a bit and wore a hole into the arse cheek of my 3 week old textiles.

Anyone here ever sewn/repaired textiles before?

Was thinking of getting some Kevlar thread and maybe a few gore tex patches to go over the hole.

Any suggestions?

The worn bit is about 3 inches long, with a 1/2 inch hole at one end, would be looking to cover this whole area.

I'd Gaffer tape it inside and out, IMO any money trying to fix them wouldn't be worth it I doubt they would be water proof in that area again.

I crashed twice in my textiles leaving a gaping hole in the right knee, I just always wear a pair of plastic over trousers over the top Thumbs Up
