AFAIK, Suzuki aren't releasing a "new" Busa (not in 2004 anyway). A near-stock, but derestricted, Busa can probably just about manage 200mph, so it would take some serious tuning and engine mods (such as an 1800cc kit, turbos etc) to get anything near an extra 30mph.

Bottom line: it's bullshit.

Yes and he isn't doing wheelies at 200 mph and that is not a turbo busa.

To do 230mph on a bike requires a ridiculous amount more power than to do 200.

Even to get a busa up from the 190ish stock top speed (or whatever it is) to 200mph requires quite a lot of work. The aerodynamics at this speed means that wind resistance is so great that power required is quite possibly going up exponentially to go faster.

I've never worked out why anyone would want to try and do 190 on the roads, let alone 200 , or 230!?

For drag racing fair enough, but people tune up their road bikes when there is no point.

Just my opinion though, I prefer twisties!

Which town do you plan to go through at 200 mph then?

Doing 200mph might be a great idea but I can't see why you would do it through a town. Maybe a motorway at night or a very long straight on an A road but never through a town, are you stupid? Confused

IS it even posisble to hit 200mph through ANY town??

You'd need hell of a lot of space to hit 200 then you'd just crash. Laughing

You could easily reach 20mph then enter the town, you probably would crash and die but that isn't the point is it. You would still have done 200mph in a town whether you lived or died at the end of it all. Laughing

Would you even see it? You never know, if your lucky you may go past a partners delivery truck on the motorway!

partners have trucks? there part of the woolworthes chaing arn't they? if so they proberly have there stuff delivered in woolworths vans, i can't really imagine that partners needs vans, the shops are all tiny and they don't sell all there stock everyday, you could fit the whole of a partners store in the back of a transit proberly anyway.

Speaking from experiance, partners do use 7.5 ton trucks and its surprising how much stock is shifted in a week, even from a small store.

The clip is genuine, the speed is not.

To start with there's no way that's 220mph.
The bike has been down geared I believe, but the speedo has not been corrected, so it goes slower (but accelerates quicker in theory) and shows a proportionally higher speed than the original.
