... or wait til spring?
After removing all the fairings and covering anything metal in acf -50 about a month ago my bike is now filthy.
Should i wash it, or will this take off some of the protection provided acf50 as well?
Probably a stupid question, but reflects the author..... |

Just having the same dilemma myself, (though not enough to warant a thread about it ). I've covered my bike in ACF50 and currently it is filthy after a few weeks constant motorway commuting in all weathers.
The only reason I want to wash it is because the lights are now darker due to the dirt, and I get filthy hands evertime I check the tyre pressures. I reckon on only washing the lights and wheels though - the rest of it won't be worth it as it'll all be dirty again after 2 days!! ____________________ Previous: Aprilia Habana Retro 50cc (beauty), Yamaha SR125 (fell apart), Honda XR125 (nippy little commuter), Honda SLR650 (Geewhizz), Yamaha Diversion 900S (Smoooooth) written off courtesy of a stupid escaped horse.
(7 year gap), BMW F650 (Relaxing ride). Aprilia Caponord ETV1000 (Big and bold). Yamaha FZS600 (got me in trouble too quick!).
Current: Yamaha TDM 900 (Comfy, light but big, power when needed). |
