I went to get a cup of coffee this morning so i asked for a large latte.
The girl came back with my coffee and said, and i shit you not "We ran out of large cups so i put your coffee in a small cup"
I just glared at her and went "Sorry, what? You put my LARGE coffee in a small cup?"
Prompting a short discussion about why i should have some money back and only pay for a small coffee. The daft cow didn't understand why but gave me change back in the end.

This is not the only time i've seen them do some stupid shit in my McD.

"Can I have a zinger burger with no mayo and lots of lettuce" Was the order given........ 3 times.

Sat down and opened my burger, No lettuce and lots of mayo. I scraped the mayo off as I didnt have the heart to complain. Twat took 3 goes to understand what I wanted and still screwed it up there was no way he was going to be able to cope with a complaint.

Picked up 2 large lattes in the drive through for home.
Got home and found they were cappuccinos (chocolate on top FFS).
Drove back to replace.

I've worked in a McDonalds for 4 years now, part time 2 days a week (while I study). I don't think ours is too bad, we have retards working there, as do most retail organisations.

It's so easy to get an order mixed up as there is so many orders to organise, doesn't stop you returning by the sounds of it

Breakfast orders just order muffins. When they correct you and inform you its a mcmuffin order a mcsausage and mcegg muffin with mcbacon and a mccoffee.

Great fun to see the annoyed faces on the people who get paid peanuts to work there.

I worked at Maccy D’s over the 6 weeks holiday at school and a little longer after that. I was saving for my second bike, an Aprilia RX50.

I was like shit off a shovel working there. I could produce 4 big macs nicely presented in less than 50 seconds. No bull.
The meat on the hot plates takes 45 seconds. In that time you’re doing the boxes in the square arrangement, buns are in toaster and all you got to do it get the bits and pieces on the bottom bun.

I met some right mentals serving. One woman came in with two children this one tim, huffing and puffing at me explaining she was in a rush and had to be somewhere pronto. In the commotion I got her order wrong, she didn’t want fries with the kids meals but if put some in there anyway (to me, not a problem really i didn’t charge)
She went out, in a strop (i served her pretty fast as well)
5 minutes later she came back in, steaming, with the kids. Started having a go at me because halfway down the road she found there to be fries in the bag.
LOL...all i could think of is how late she was going to be.

We used to play a little game with the new workers who came in. We’d give them drive thru duty. When they were sat there waiting for cars, we’d go to them and ask if we could grab some condiments or napkins from the shelves behind them. As we lent over, the game was to put a gherkin on the peak of the cap without them noticing and see how many we could get on there. The funny part came when someone came to order and as they turned to grab items for the order a gherkin would shoot in front of them from nowhere, sometimes flying out of the window

worked in maccys for ovr 4 years and used to be an am,

there are some staff who get that stuck in the routine that they seem like muppets, as tim said it is a really hard job considering some people will serve close to 100 people in an hour, thats a lot of people !!

End of the day call them what you like the average maccys staff wants to work and there are well to many teenagers that scrounge off either mum and dad or the government.

there are the few very thick people but they are not as common as you would think.

I'v worked on and off for costa for nearly half a decade, lots of people come in being twats, sometimes even looking for an argument.

Worst place was the airport... I did night shifts quiet often and the amount of people who dont understand *we'r closed* is amazing...

Could stack chairs blocking the enterance and people would push through them, stand at the counter and be completely WTF when i come round and say we'r closed lol.

To be fair, i'v made a few mess ups myself, i wouldnt say i'm a retard but when your serving a bajillion people and there's a que out the store, its not hard to mess something when rushing.
