Your next trip looks great, though I'd be letting the side down if I didn't suggest a trip from Stockholm to Turku and few days in Finland while you're up here.

Sure, the only exception that we did not go to Prague in order to give more days to Austria

Something like this
A Coruña - Barcelona 1200 Kms 1 day
In Barcelona take the ferry to Livorno in Italy
Livorno - Florencia 240 Kms
two days visiting Firence, Siena, Pisa and the Tuscany roads
Firence -Venice 263 Kms 1 day
Venice - Vienna - 615 Kms 2 days
Vienna - Salzburg 399 kms (in the road, visit Mauthaussen) 2 days
Salzburg - Zell Am See (Tirol) 156 kms 2 days (Grossglockner alpine road)
Zell am See - Fussen - Lago di Como 559 Kms 2 days
Lago di Como - Monaco 379 kms 1 day
Monaco - Toulousse 582 kms 1 day
and Toulousse - A Coruña 996 Kms

No, my friend, I suggest only that if possible you spend a few days here in Finland as it would be a shame to miss it after coming so far. England is fine, even if they do drive on the wrong side of the road Smile

Great trip whether you get this far or not.

Hahahaha Laughing Laughing Laughing Ok, ok. You´re in Finland Thumbs Up Embarassed I just understand everything Embarassed

True, it's a shame to pass so close to Finland and do not stop, but there are so many places to visit and so little time .... In the future, probably next year, I'll go to Nordkap and then spend some time in Finland. Where are you exactly?

P. S. We will have to be careful in England, especially the roundabouts Rolling Eyes Mr. Green

Bloody amazing pics bud. I'm glad you joined the forum. Some of them pictures are outstanding. That scenery is to die for.

I'll have to go read the blog at some point too. Sounds like the kind of trip I could only dream about doing in the next 18 years. I dont think the mrs would be happy about leavin her and the baby to swan around Europe for a few months Laughing

In a few months? No, no only in 17 days...... (so it is easier to convince your wife) Laughing Laughing

Superb trip and pictures - thanks for sharing! Mr. Green

Quite an eye opener to see these places at this time of year as normally very much a summer trip. Looks lovely and apart from the scary snow levels on the sides, the roads look wonderfully clear - no traffic jams in the winter months Thumbs Up

1200kms on your first day is a hell of a way to start a trip! I'd spend ages across that route too, as if the south Pyrennees in the summer are anything to go by, I'd have enjoyed a slower trip across, but guessing it's home ground for you!

I'm near Kouvola, about 120 km east of Helsinki, on the edge of the lake district.

7000 km two-up on a 125.... 'impressive' is not the first word to come to mind! 'Uncomfortable' would top my list.

Tonka, I think by the look of the photos this trip was done last summer not just now Wink

You crossed over a few places I went last year (still to do a writeup) but you have some great pics and plenty of them, didn't need many words.

What's the road with the overhanging rock? It looks close to where I was somewhere around the grossglockner? but I never came across that.

You mean this?

https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dCjF-KDw81s/TSNIU6QPyVI/AAAAAAAAAbk/roQqj-P9ZhQ/s1600/IMG_9755.JPG

is the road to Schlegeis in the Zillertal Nature Park. It´s "near" the Grossglockner

Not at all. My wife and I go every year to Jerez Moto GP. the distance from where we live are 1.100 km and do them "straight through" Just stop to pee Mr. Green and fill the tank

The problem of living in the corner, is that out of your country, you have to make those kms

Finndave I write the place for when I go out there, you invite me a coffee... For a moment I thought you were in Rovanievi with Santa C. .... Laughing Rolling Eyes
