I was doing some Christmas shopping the other day and spotted something which I thought was interesting. It was a £20 gift voucher for facebook. I personally do not use facebook and was wondering what it is that you actually pay for on it ? As far as I was led to believe it was a free social network site. My girlfriend uses the site - and the possible Christmas gift would be for her so I cannot ask her what the voucers are used for.

Anyone got any ideas ?

You can buy gifts and stuff, certain apps you can buy things on them.

Waste of time IMO, all the stuff people use mostly is free.

After reading the above replies I think that might be the better option.

Never knew it was for stuff like Farmville - although my girlfriend doesn't really play that that much to be fair.

Seems like a complete waste of money.

May as well be a scam but more for stupid people. You get in exchange for your money a graphic on a farm of some virtual gun or something?? why would anyone buy that? I rather some new item of clothing or some other stuff that I can touch.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 15 years, 80 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
