Argh my aching ears. This thread needs some decent 90's music.

Weezer - Buddy Holly

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

Marilyn Manson - Irresponsible Hate Anthem

Pink Floyd - What Do You Want From Me

There. Much better

The fact Teen Spirit is still commonly played doesnt mean its less nostalgic. Out of all the songs I put up its Teen Spirit that brings back the most memories.

Standing in the Kings Hall in Belfast watching Kurt and the guys blasting it out on stage is pretty nostalgic. Thumbs Up

Brainbug - Nightmare
Snap - Rhythm is a Dancer
Aqua - Barbie Girl

90's music always reminds me of the old Sierra the 'rents had when we were little. I always thought it was the shit.

Still good today. Kriss Kross

Definitely my favorite era for music, mainly for the old school house.

You also got songs like this The Prodigy - Out Of Space & Adamski & Seal - Killer (one of my favs)

2000> fucking sucks.

This song came out a year before OMC's How Bizzare did. It did well in the clubs back then too..

Also around that time this song came out and caused a fuss at school...

That is terrible. This was much better, although a bit of a Reel 2 Real rip off:

Even betterer:

But yes, ultimately the 90's has no decent music to claim as its own. Even Iron Maiden fcuked up in the 90's. The decade that talent forgot.

Another few classics:

Drum & Bass was created in the 90s, that is certainly decent music, especially with songs like Goldie - Innercity Life

Hip Hop was certainly on form back then too. Pete Rock & C. L. Smooth "They Reminisce Over You"

The 80s beats all tho.

Does anyone remember a rap video where a white woman goes in to the Ghetto and says something like "I really want to help" and then the rappers start telling her about life in the ghetto...?

I thought it was Naughty By Nature but I can't find the vid on Youtube.
