overtake a coach and... Bang!

I'm on the floor sliding down the wrong side of the road watching my bike slide away from me.

coach driver said he saw me hit some leaves before I went down, seems the council did a great job of cleaning the road the day before!

Luckily I'm ok, just got sore wrists where I hit the kerb with my hands, the bikes ok, scuffed fairings/pannier, snapped footpeg, rear brake lever, bar end bent, smashed indicator.

could've been worse but for my first off I thought it was ok! stupid leaves!

yeah luckily I wasn't going crazy and there was nothing coming the other way, coach driver was great, helped me pick up the bike and made sure I was ok.

Just pricing up parts now..

yeah I quite like the pannier pattern, just a shame the other side doesn't match!

Looks like the panier did a good job of protecting the end can!

Are those pants leather or textiles? The seam at the back gave way pretty badly!

Glad your alright mate, it is pretty shit the conditions this time of year, dont rely on the council cleaning up cause even if they did next it would be diesel.
First spill so youve got that out the way and survived, brilliant.
Just watch yourself out there, I very nearly had a spill tonight at the usual f**king r/bout near the garage, fuel on the road.
a bit of damage to your bike tho I dont know if you could get the council to foot the bill, Like I said mate, glad your alright Thumbs Up

My trousers are Frank Thomas XTi and jacket is XT. I think I trust them now, although I really need to buy some draggin jeans for those times when it's just not practical to wear those.

Glad you're ok and looks like your bike shouldn't cost too much to put right. Leaves are a bloody nightmare.

If I was wearing my draggin jeans I'm not too sure how bad I'd be, I'd definately be bruised all over my legs!

And unfortunately this time of year I'm now skint so to the delight of mum and the gf the bike will be tucked away while I save for the parts!

Anyone know of any other good breakers? triumphant weren't able to help
