yamaha xt 125x engine timing

hi i have rebuilt a 2007 yamaha xt 125x engine my problem is the manuel is vague about which mark on the rotter i use to do engine timing is it 1 2 3 mark as i turn the engine ante clockwise . i have tried the 3rd one and the engine ran but did not rev out propeley and was staling when hot cheers chippy Confused

Do you mean flywheel timing marks for valve clearances Question
