:'( i own a 2004 suzuki EN 125 2a, and its down on power & fuel economy. the stupid thing is i have checked or replaced anything that could be the problem, does anyone know what it could be??? it doesn't make any sense.
we have;
replaced the rubbing front break,
replaced the CDI,
ground the valves in,
cleaned the bor,
there is no play on the piston in the bor,
the exhaust is new,
the valve timing is dead on as is the valve clearance,
and the fuel air mix is fine.
any idea's?

id check the Carb or air filter.. or the right and left crank cases to see if the timing is off or there is trash in your engine holding it back. OR check the brakes Smile and loose some weight if your a fatty too lol

OHH and by timing i mean the Magneto and flywheel not the chain and valves or pushrods Wink

yeah i would change the spark plug, it can make the world of diference. Another thing i can sugest is checking the exhaust over and the intake to make sure theres no cracks in the intake boot. that will kill your power, take the air filter boot or carb off and put your hand over the intake while spinning the engine over, shud have alot of suck to it, and if you put water or soap on the boot you will see any cracks or holes, also make or buy some gaskets on the intake from the engine to the carb, if anything use liquid gasket or a cerial box.
