To cut a long story short, new neighbours arrived, near me, 6 months ago, man & wife + 2 small kids.
Like myself they are not natives here, “Mr. X”, speaks English the rest don’t. The guy is alright, bit of a “WalterMitty”, very nosey, but harmless.

A couple of months ago he’s asking me where he can get a dog, I direct him to the many animal rescue centres, he buys a small bulldog type thing from a small add in the paper.
He can’t be bothered with the dog, it wanders the road leaving dog shit all over the place.

Last week, I arrived home from work on Monday and I can hear, what sounds like, a very large dog barking. Another of my neighbours is passing by and informs me “Mr.X” has acquired a rather large “Heinz 57”.

Tuesday evening there is a huge mound of dog shit in my garden/patio area, I clean it up.

Wednesday morning I’m woken up at 6am by a banging noise outside, I try and ignore it but it goes on for half an hour so I get up to investigate, there is a large dog attempting to tunnel under my metal shed, it’s probably trying to get at a feral cat.

I go outside to remove the dog from my garden, as I go out of the door, “Mr X” is opening my gate to get in my garden. I say to him (verbatim), “Mr X, get that dog out of my garden, and get it on a fucking lead”! I go back in the house and slam the door!

“Mr. X” has now returned the dog to wherever he got it from.

Now “Mr. X” is not speaking to me, I couldn’t care less. However I have found out that he is telling people that I forced him to get rid of his dog because I am a racist and that I racially abused him, (I am not and I didn’t). Mad

What a fucking cunt! I’ve invited him into my house given him food, drinks, cigarettes. FFS I even fixed his car for him FOC!
The icing on the cake is that in the past he has told me he hates the natives here! What a fucking, two faced, lying twat!

I’m a great believer in “Give 'em enough rope, and they'll hang themselves”, so I’ll let him shoot his mouth off as long as he wants to! I’ve already been told that a few people have been put straight on the matter, so I’ll leave it at that!

Fortunately he lives 3 doors away, so I can let him hang himself in peace!

Not really a difficult situation, I tend to keep myself to myself, and couldn’t care less what he does or says. It’s his loss not mine, AFAIC.

Hopefully karma will come around and kick his arse for him!

had a strange situation yesterday
on the bus on the way home a group of coloured kids got on the bus which was full
including a lot of coloured / Asian people as well as whites when the group of kids
started shouting and trying (badly) to rap and shouting nigga this and coon that
this went on to a point where I was ready to go up to them and tell them to STFU
fortunately they got off at the next stop

my point here is if that was white people acting in this manner they would have been arrested
and accused of being racist

Some months ago an Bangladeshi (or summit) moved over the road to my grandparents old house Sad.

They're pleasant enough I suppose but they really are annoying. They now have two kids, and the whole road is a parking place to anyone, and since my normal parking place was not vacant, I got myself into a little place between their drive come front door and they're other car. Then I got abuse by another neighbour saying i shouldn't park there because 'they have their kids' FFS kids have nowt to do with it, He is gonna take my place, I therefore take his.

But the wife can't drive for shit, had to blare the horns at her for a couple of seconds cos she cut a corner at speed. Stupid bitch, has a size of a car which she can't drive.

Hopefully he will live next door to a REAL racist in the future, then he will learn not to abuse the term.

I think this is a bit of a misunderstanding, and he made a mistake. If you explain things to him, he may realise his mistake.

There is a saying that not everyone who is nice to you, is your friend and not everyone is nasty to you is your enemy.

He has made the classic mistake of assuming that someone who was nasty to him was his enemy. He then theorised that the reason someone was nasty to him, was that they are racist.

Now there wouldnt ordinarily be much chance of showing him otherwise, but you have invited him in given him things, fixed his car etc. It could be that he had thought of you as a friend so then when he thought you were being mean to him it felt like more of a slap in the face and that you were actually a nasty man after all.

I think you should get a little note to him, put on his car through his door or whatever, that explains that you, like him are not from here, and remind him that you have given him things fixed his car etc, so wouldnt consider yourself racist.

Explain why you had been annoyed, and that you hope he can understand that, and ask him to stop telling people you are racist, as if you had had a problem with him before the dogs, you wouldnt have given him stuff fixed his car etc.

If he is new to the country and comes from somewhere where you let your animals roam free, it could be he's just a bit slow picking up the local customs of consideration.

I'm not saying you will get an apology, but he will at least understand a bit better, and might realise that he cant go exaggerating without you putting your side of the story.

Thanks for the advice, it all sounds very reasonable, but in reality it’s not going to happen.
He can say whatever he wants because I know that the people who know me will know what he is saying is bullshit, so he’s only making a fool of himself.
As I said before, his loss not mine.
He knows perfectly well how everyday life should be conducted.
The way I see it he’s been caught out and doesn’t like it, tough shit!

At least he got rid of the dog. Confused Could there have been something lost in translation and he thought you were insisting he got rid of it?
