Can't get on work, but I'm presuming it's a wall of snow across the road?

There is 3 other entrances to that high street, and 2 salted and gritted and cleared roads that both run parallel to that high street, so if there was a ambulance needed, there is access from 3 other entrances.

Obviously people can't take a bit of light hearted humour. Sad

Actually with connections like that and the current inclement weather then the ambulance could approach from any direction... and sure as hell would be very pissed off should i attempt to approach from the direction of the wall to for example a category 1 response for a heart attack.. only to find that i either have to attempt to drive over the wall, or reverse back the length of the street risking a shitload more property because some fuckwit decided it would be funny to block the street.

Nice one shit for brains!

I doubt that someone will really need a ambulance on that road, there are no houses, just shops, most of which were closed anyway, and a snowplough was out shunting snow from all the roads a few hours later.

Not that that is a road, just a path.

I was there this morning when people started going through town, it only brought laughs, no negative comments.

Grrr, it's only a joke, to make people smile.

Should have gone with the massive penis idea..... Neutral

ah so people having heart attacks wait until after their shopping, until they get home ?

Chances are no one will die as a result, but they might and to pretend otherwise is just daft.

If you vandalise phone boxes chances are no one will need one in an emergency, but they might.

Blocking a road might make someone feel powerful and clever, but its just an inconvenience to other people.

Hopefully, it got removed pretty soon after being made anyway.

I'm not so sure that would stop an ambulance, though it would slow them down. You'd be better off making a snowman tbh

Good to see you surveyed the area and prepared a risk assessment before making your "barrier" Wink

Has to be said you are a grade A spastic, amberlamps or fire could come from any direction, and that 10 minutes turning around on an icey road and going an alternative could be the difference between life and death in these conditions, you may think it is light hearted fun, but really it is just fucking dumb.

Ever think, what if it snows even more, the conditions deteriorate, amberlamps or fire needs to get through, due to snow can't see it and drive straight into, could fuck their vehicle meaning the emergency vehicle can't get to the emergency you gammon slipper.
