repost, but great video, still. Theres a longer version out there with an interview of the rider.

He admits that he changed lanes, he was going for the hard shoulder, without looking, and cut across the car. Bikers fault. But he survived.

The rider was also at fault because he was going to the hard shoulder but failed to check his blind spot. All in all 50-50 IMO

he admits that he slowed down to pull in but nothing about changing lanes

Was quite clearly the bikers fault, look at the position of the bike just before he was hit, clearly changing lanes without looking. Idiot if you ask me
