One of their studies has discovered that organisms can grow by substituting phosphorous for arsenic as a building block of life, and phosphorous has long been considered one of the absolute necessities of life. Pretty interesting development in astrobiology and biological sciences ^_^

Yep, as I've said in numerous debates on the existence of life other planets on this forum, other organisms on other planets may not necessarily require the elements that are necessary for life here on earth, since evolution should work with whatever is present, NASA have basically confirmed this by proving that an organism is able to use arsenic in place of phosphorus in order to thrive, thus suggesting that this could be possible on other planets, so you can extend this to suppose that intelligent life may well have evolved elsewhere in the universe.
