Wanted: old Motorcycle helmet(s) for MTB?

Hi everyone,

Im into push bikes a lot as well as motorbikes, and recently have become very interested in downhill and MTBing so want to give that a go with a couple of other cycling mates, and I down want to do anything serious without a reasonable lid, and normal road cycling helmets are rubbish so I thought an old used motorbike helmet would probably be adequate, so does anyone have any retired helmets lying around that they could let go?

Size wise I would need a large and my other friends probably need medium? would consider any style, full face/open/road/motocross and any condition basically. if you have anything could you get in touch and let us know what youve got and what you want for it?

Any other tatty old gear or stuff which is no longer good enough for motorbike road use would also be cool, whatever you have lying around!

I live in cambridge but am in london a lots so would happily go to any tube/dlr stop to meet you or could ride out to you if you're near cambridge,
