alien green gearbox oil!

Did a change of gearbox oil on my KTM250EXC 2t. I have been meaning to do it for a while now ... it kind of came out alien green!!

I guess that is down to the damp conditions the bike works in and the fact that I have never changed it in what must be 50hrs? riding

Saying that I have this shitty area at the bottom of my garden where i tip my oils.

Just hope your grid holes don't overflow anytime soon, i've heard of people that have had oil wreck their houses in floods.

That photo looks very much like a council recycling....err receptical.

As it happens a litre of oil will contaminate about 250 thousand gallons of ground water.

My BMW diff oil looked a bit like that, as it exited the bike following a bearing failure. Bluey gray and quite thick?
