Did a change of gearbox oil on my KTM250EXC 2t. I have been meaning to do it for a while now ... it kind of came out alien green!! Very Happy

I guess that is down to the damp conditions the bike works in and the fact that I have never changed it in what must be 50hrs? riding Embarassed

Here is a pic of me when I was tipping it away ... Confused

Anyone else got some horrid oil pics? Thumbs Up

Looks sick, you sure dampness is the only cause of so much water in the oil?

But what about the flora and fauna of Englands waterways ?

Why dont you store it, then take it to the dump ?

Just hope your grid holes don't overflow anytime soon, i've heard of people that have had oil wreck their houses in floods.

That photo looks very much like a council recycling....err receptical.

As it happens a litre of oil will contaminate about 250 thousand gallons of ground water.

My BMW diff oil looked a bit like that, as it exited the bike following a bearing failure. Bluey gray and quite thick?

Its Putoline actually Wink

Used to use it in my trials bike, it DOES smell like strawberries in the bottle, it smells REAL nasty when being burnt ... not strawberry at all!! Sad
