Well this is who I saw

https://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b82/mondeokid/Image2-3.jpg

https://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b82/mondeokid/Image4.jpg

I did take lots of pictures of bikes, but my 3 year old, decided to sit on every bike he could, glad he did, it was that busy, i'd have random pictures of blokes on bikes otherwise.

I enjoyed the show. But wish I hadn't taken the wife and kids, they were bored after 4 hours. I think they lost the plot when I queued up at the Bridgestone stand to talk about BT 23s.

Lots of stalls selling gear, didn't need any to be honest. But massive price differences between the stalls, ie Oxford hot hands went from £25 - £57 depending on the stall.

The guy on the left is Cal Crutchlow, he's English and has moved up to the Moto GP for next year.

I went on Saturday, it was packed. I didn't bother taking pictures of the guys on stage, I didn't even watch them because while that was going on it meant there was fewer people looking at the bikes.

There were a few but to take pictures of them you'd have to fight through a crowd of horny middle aged men playing pocket snooker, so I didn't bother. Laughing

Only 5 years till your youth disappears. Only 15 till you, wake up and notice you have wasted your life, then have a midlife crisis! Only 30 years before senile dementia begins to take hold... Tick tock tick tock. Times running out.

Oh dear Sad. It'll pick up in 5 years and you'll be prime picking since you already have a phd.

What subject?

Hi Guys,

Got a ticket to go to this show tomorrow, does anyone know what the roads are like in the sounding area? Will be coming from London, would rather miss it than crash on ice. I am leaning towards not risking it at the moment.

Thanks Surprised

Hi

We went yesterday. Roads around there were fine. Far less snow than we had at the time in Stafford (30~40 miles NW), and we haven't had that much (3" or so is as deep as it has got).

Far better show than last year but very few people wandering round and lots of VERY bored looking people manning stands. Bit chilly waiting for the bus back to the car park though.

All the best

Keith

Excellent, thanks for the quick reply. Sounds like the problem will be getting out of my road then. Will see what it's like tomorrow morning and make my mind up then.

I've just posted a thread about this, but in the wrong section so I'll put it here too:

I've got 1 (possibly two) spare ticket(s) for the bike show, that I'd happily donate if anyone is driving down from Manchester or the NW to Birmingham and could fit me in. My lift has just pulled out so I don't think I'll be able to get down there otherwise.

Let me know, cheers.
