I'm sure there'll be plenty of suggestions coming your way, but for ease of use, half decent build quality, and good resolution within the price bracket ....?
I've been using a Casio Exilim for the past year and been very pleased with it... Thumbs Up

I use a veho muvi, although there are cheaper versions made called the MD80. Quite a few people on here have them, have a search and you'll find all the info you need.

search for MD80

https://www.bikechatforums.com/search.php?mode=results

check out my thread Road Twats. that was an MD80 camera, can splashproof it by putting it in a sparkplug box and weatherproofing it a bit.

there are LOADS of threads on this already.

MD80 is decent.

Not really waterproof, but it comes with a little rubber case that'll protect it from most water splashes.

Quality is okay too.

mate ive just bought one of these and i cant fault it. its quick and goog quality and very small. the price is awesome. the only thing not going for it is its not water proof.
do some research on it.
i did and found out its best if you buy a class 6 memory card for optimum performance... loads of motorcross guys use them and the quality is great. check it out on you tube.. bought mine for £40 off play.com and also got the sports pack with all the straps and mounts and the upgraded class 6 mem card was £8...
