Behold, Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the beast!

Needed a winter bike to get me to work in the snowy weather so what better than a bullet proof Honda C90?

Also means a bit of Moped Mayhem is on the cards...

Thanks chaps.

It's really frustrating - I popped along to see the bike on my lunch break and paid for it there and then. TBH, I haven't ridden it yet as I intended to pop back and collect it later but we got hit by snow and the missus won't give me a lift to go and get it. So my bike for the bad weather is miles away and the bad weather is here.

It's in Cranleigh but I'm in Guildford. If the new bathroom that I'm meant to be fitting this weekend doesn't get delivered 'cos of the weather I'll probably be able to blag a lift on Saturday.

Well the beast is home Very Happy

Picked it up from a very icy and snowy industrial estate giggling as I fishtailed out of there. Even the blokes who own the place were laughing.

What can I say? It's very bouncy. I did hit a heady 45mph then I found out the brakes don't actually do much slowing down, forward planning is the key even at 30mph.

Coming up the ice rink road to the house was a right laugh, I think the neighbours were well impressed with the burnouts I performed.

Front brakes on them are always useless, back ones seem okay though.

With a 110 engine mine will sit at 45-50 cruising and pull well off the clock downhill.

So much fun! Be worth servicing it, they only take about 700ml of oil, but most use a drop. Valves are a piece of piss to do aswell.

If you want a noisey pipe for a laugh monkey bike ones fit but mean you can't use the centrestand.

I'm amazed at the sort of premium they fetch!

I did quite enjoy riding G's at Moped Mayhem though. I'd happily ride one around town.
