Well,
Trying to keep the cost down on my bsa project, so i decided id build the wheel myself.
I got a dunlop rim off ebay (99p) turned out to be pretty damn good, with no buckles or wobbles!
Got myself some spokes and nipples from CWC (£51)
got it all laid out on the table, and had a bash, its not that difficult so far, rather theraputic infact!

started to drop the spokes in, i kept one spoke in the hub from the last wheel so i knew were to start from.

have any of you lot built your own wheels? did you come across any issues once its in use?
One thing i wasnt sure of was the Torque on them, dreading a "Ping" sound when i was doing it.
feedback welcome, steve. ____________________ Current : 06 Zx10r, 07 Wr450f SM, 74 850 norton commando, 63 bsa b40, 1962 Triton 650, 67 Triumph Tr6r, 1955 Triton 750, 1978 TY250E. |

Ive Trued it all up now, all spokes have a nice ring to them, and its as straight as a die, im pretty proud of myself to be honest, first time ive ever done one.
I measured the Off-sett before i cut the old wheel off (that was fun!)
I was pretty lucky finding such a good rim for such a low price to be honest, and one that had all the holes drilled correctly.
anyway, heres a pic of it finished with brake plate.
