When i first ride the bike in the cold it runs really well but as the engine warms up a small flat spot develops in the acceleration range.

Hi, it does sound as if it could be running a bit rich. Hence why it runs great when cold but not so once warmed up.

Is it standard? I see it does 45mph, guessing it'd have been de-restricted to do that?

Air filter a bit blocked? That could be richening the mixture up a bit. Might just be a case of giving the thing a bit of a service..
