Afternoon all,

I'm considering respraying my VTR over the next few weeks as the paint work is starting to look a little tired (Hadn't been looked after at all by the previous owner). The problem I have is the Firestorm (decals / stickers whatever you want to call them) have been lacquered over so I can't just 'peel' them off. If you could give me some advice for taking the lacquer off that would be great.

Thanks very much,
James

If you are going to respray, won't they come off during the flatting back stage?

You'll never get the decals off in any re usable state and I wouldnt even bother trying. Ebay do the full VTR decals for a decent price.

Get the paint and decals removed etc. Repaint it the colour of your choice and then buy new decals

Firestorm decals

If its the SP you might have to go elsewhere for the decals
