sorry, probably been answered before...

basically atm iv'e only got 1 yrs NCB from sept. 09 to sept 10,
i've reinsured said bike from sept 10 to sept 2011.

now say i was to buy a new bike in august 2011, im quite close to sept 2011 when i will have my 2yrs NCB, but if i want to insure the new bike i will either have to cancel my exsisting policy which ends in september to use the 1 years NCB or start fresh with 0 ncb and let the exsiting policy rack up 2 ncb? is that correct.

so in that respect is it better to wait till sept 2011 to buy a new bike otherwise, ill loose thats years 11 months towards that years ncb?

+1

My insurance is up for renewal next month and I just bought a second bike. eBike sorted me out and I can just cancel the policy when I alter my main one.

In that case try adding the bike to your current policy.
I added a bike worth 3K to a policy on a bike worth £600 for 3 months...

Total cost. Nowt Thumbs Up

new policy price doubled to £500 and excess dropped to £350..

buy the bike whenever you want, just don't insure it till renewal
