What do you guys use to carry your tools around? (any particularly useful/convenient devices..?)

----
Due to circumstances i tend to need to carry my tools regularly. This is completely unavoidable (i don't feel i can just leave them all there as they're not fully insured etc), but much of a pain in the backside, because i work on bikes quite regularly, and would like to do it even more, but am being put off by all the multiple-journey unwanted toolbag-lugging exercise Wink. I can't imagine i'm the only person who's encountered this issue, hence my question.

I currently have 2 medium-large toolboxes, and about 6 large textile bags, full of tools, and because i'm not really a planner, always doing multiple jobs etc (or let's put it like this, if i don't bring it out, i seem to need it all of sudden!) i need to lug them all each time. It's a pain, it takes multiple trips, and in the case of my uni house is a case of having to be quick and do it in multiple steps so i'm not leaving expensive tools lying around for any over-the-fence yobbos to permanently deprive me of.

I'm looking for something cheap (i'm a student, and a poor one at that - in part because of all these bloody tools i've bought Laughing) that will:
1. Organise my tools better so that i don't have to hunt through the bags and boxes trying to remember where the particular tool is. This takes me too long as it is.
2. Carry them all in as little trips as possible.

I suppose big toolboxes that are good for organising tools in (?) are the way to go unless anyone has better ideas.
I'd also be interested in any recommendations for something cheap i can bolt down securely in which to keep a few of the larger/heavier tools in the garage.

Note: Can't push a large chest or anything up as it's too expensive and i have a very steep hill to push it up!

For transporting tools, I use a cheaper version of a Black and Decker mastercart and throw those I think I'll need in:

If I need to move a lot of them, I have two large ammo boxes and a sack barrow. These have the advantage of being lockable and could easily be bolted down to the floor if you wanted. I picked them up at car boot sales, the big one was £15 and the smaller one was £7.

I also use them for camping. Here's a picture of them being used as the "kitchen" on a recent trip to France.

Particularly handy for music festivals too. I take the big one on a sack barrow. You can fit all your stuff in it and wheel it to the campsite. It doubles as a table or a bench and you can lock your stuff in it when you leave the tent.
