I did dinner for the in laws yesterday, my sister-in-law gave us a bottle of wine. She said later that she had been given two bottles of wine as a tip earlier on that day. I assume one of these bottles was given to us. Today we gave the same bottle of wine as a gift for someone else. How's that for reduce, re-use, recycle? My carbon footprint must have just shrunk a couple of inches.

I've definately done that giving away wine that was given to me thing, so it must be very common.

Thinking about it, there must be a certain number of wine bottles that just get pillar to posted constantly, without ever being drunk.

This is probably how we end up with the obsession over aged bottles.

It's nowt to do with quality, its just generations of people palming crap wine off until somebody runs out of proper booze at the wrong time of the night. Laughing
