What do you think of these W800? I am sure that Bonneville is better bike though.

W800
773cc(FI) 35kW(48PS）/6,500rpm 62Nm(6.3kgf-m)/2,500rpm
Bonneville
865cc(FI) 49.6 kW(68HP)/7500 RPM 69Nm(7.0 kgf-m)/5800rpm

I expected W800 to have 56 or 57PS engine..

I really like the cafe racer, but I'd know it was a Kawasaki and not a Triumph.

I think Thruxton is the original of cafe racer.

Well the Triumph isn't really a Triumph, just a cosmetic copy!
I like these two machines personally, they do appear authentic (the Kawasaki more so) but ultimately I have a problem with parodies.
I mean surely they could come up with a more interesting, accurate, use of the famous Bonneville name than a simple styling cue?
I think the bonneville looks too chubby and too long as well. I mean its supposed to be a lightweight sports twin isn't it? It weighs more than the original piece of heavy ironwork.

atleast the new triumphs are dohc, or may be im completly missing the point Wink

It has bevel gear driven cams which obviously give the motor a 'period' appearance but are also functionally superior and I think a nice touch, similar to some early ducati motors.
Seems more authentic and functional to me than the fake pushrod tubes and phoney carburettor bodies on the triumph! Can you imagine???

I prefer that (the standard model) to the Bonnie.

The lines are better, it looks tidier without the Triumph's silly kinky pipes, clocks are nicer and I'd expect it would be built a lot better too.

Although, it is missing the 650's kick start...
