Didn't think that much to it, which is a shame because I loved only fools and horses. It's just not funny and what I want is funny. It could have been great but it's more kitchen-sink lite with a typical BBC agenda.

Now, I'm no social historian, but I doubt in 1961 that young men in South London would be saying things like 'Del's got no chance with her' about an Indian girl. I am led to believe by my uncles and dads attitude it would have been more like 'What's Del chasing that stinking paki curry muncher about for?'....

...no, what we got was a south of the river family virtually ignoring the fact he engaged a punjab. This could have been dealt with properly, seeing as though it was bought up, but it was tidily avoided...BORING.

The mothers letcherous boss... BORING.

'The Frog' and the mother... BORING.

Really annoying, I smiled once at a forgettable Trigger gag. Thank goodness Peep Show in all it's glory was on after.

"The Malaysians were rioting, letting off bombs and stuff..."

"Ooh, that sounds terrible!"

"Yeah, our lad was in service, they sent him out there to help calm things down."

"What, was he a diplomat like?"

"Nah, a sniper."

Had me in stitches. Laughing

Ah yeah, one or two good gags in, but I reckon a the likes of Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon could have done a hell of a lot better with the wealth of characters avaialble.
