I know theres some good old Honda knowledge on here

I'm bored with the CJ360t and am trying to sell /swap it for something suitable for lightweight greenlaning maybe

If I cannot sell or swap the bike I may as well lug on with it and perhaps make it more original or looking more like the prettier and more in demand CB360 (or cafe racer it?)
Either way its screaming out for a set of spoked wheels and more period tank rather than the safety nazi covered version missing its flap

Currently has comstar wheels (I'm assuming from a Superdream)
Single disk up front and drum rear

I'm pretty confident the tanks will just swap over if I were to get one (assuming the frames the same?)

Anyone got inclings (or definate proof) of what other wheels will fit?
CB400/4's?
Any gotchas I need to consider?

Would like to try and retain the forks and single disk setup if possible to save throwing too much money at it

Regards
Rob

OK cheers for the replies

hmmmnz - when you say that I'm now wondering if the yoke and forks are CJ or Superdream items
I'm pretty sure the front brake caliper (tokico) is a Superdream item from when I got new pads for it
All the CJ250/360 items seemed to have round pads...which mine doesn't
I wouldn't know where to begin to see what they did to fit the comstar on the rear...

mad4it028 - Is it single front disk and drum rear?
Dunno if its worth trying to take some measurements of things (axle width, disk offset, drum diameter etc) and make a wild stab in the dark guess if they would fit without any major knock on effects?
Could be a good offer...what you thinking price wise?
Do they come with a disk and drum brake already fitted?
(thinking compatibility with what I already have)

The more I think about it I'm wondering if I'm best just leaving it as it is and just chuck it on eBay and take whatever it reaches
I don't want to chuck loads of dosh at it when I am bored of it and find I'm needing to fit new swing arm, forks/yokes just to fit spoked wheels

I am watching that Yellow CJ250 to see how much I realisticly should be asking for mine as I genuinely don't have a clue
Theres no way I'd get away with buying another bike just for the wheels!
(Kitchen is already stuffed to the ceiling with tools, car and bike bits till the new garage gets done...another outstanding project with a clock ticking...)

Mrs Cog is having our first coglet in a few months - so getting rid of the CJ to make room for the "next project" is the path of least resistance - and I'm itching to have a go at greenlaning

Regards
Rob
