Anyone got any good sites for budget clothing?

Any recommendations for trousers and jacket?

I've had a look on ebay and can't really find much on there worth forking out for.

Cant fault them nice and warm removable inner lining have protected my knee caps twice while knee downing then remembering i aint got no sliders on haha i bought one size bigger then i am that way i can put on a thick pair of pants under them if its really cold.

ive also got 2 of these in blue one for me and one for any pillions i take again i have found it a decent bit of kit if your on a budget and dont like leather.

Gave you tried ghost bikes they have some real cheap but decent stuff in there but its best to go down and try it on first. There sizes can be strange there 32 waist pants are way to small for me even though im a 32 Mr. Green

Hope this helps Thumbs Up

I paid around £50 each on Egay for my jacket and trousers and they have served me well over winter.

It is a case of you get what you pay for with them and for my cheapness I get a little tiny bit of leakage around the zipper at the front of the jacket and in serious rain the water soaks through the crotch a little on the trousers. But thats pretty common on more expensive textile trousers too.

EDIT:

As above has mentioned. Ghostbikes. I've used their Egay shop many times and their service is fantastic. Thumbs Up

Don't be cheap. I bought 40 quid textiles from an ebay company, and the belt broke off, and so have 3 of my ither friends. We bought it in bulk!

It is also bigger than the discribed size IMO so if I do drop, they will slide off if I end up backwards.

I picked up a pair of Spada Milan-Tex trousers for £45. Never leaked and I've never felt cold, even when it was -11.

If you're not waterproofed but are already armoured/not bothered about armour then I recommend halfords Portwest waterproof 2 piece. It's kept me dry as a bone in heavy rain and it folds away easily leaving about 3/4 of my 37 litre top box free for my other shit. and they were only £15!!

I was recommended these by someone else on BCF and I'm glad of it. BTW if you go to buy these, they're in the workshop and tools section, not the biking section

When LIDL do their biking gear sales you can get stuff cheap. I got trousers for £30 and they're actually pretty good; warm and waterproof (although I only commute 6 miles each way).

Ah just had a look at the link, and I have those Ghost trousers.

The belts suck, and 4 of us have bought them, and all 4 belts broke. The waist isn't that tight at all as well, so keeps dropping and if I did drop, well, it would come off IMO.

Try the charity shop, very hit and miss but worth checking before you spend hundreds.
