Tis a sad day for Boltonians and football fans alike.

Having drunk in the same pub as Nat in Chapeltown as well as having the Lion of Vienna as my local I know he will be missed.

Decent old school leg end.

RIP

True working class hero, and a true Boltonian, I have a signed picture of him on my wall lifting the 58 FA cup, and shed a tear last night.

What a legend!

33 Games 30 Goals for England !

True Bolton Legend Hope he gets a great send off at the next Home game against Chelsea and we can have a memorial built outside the Reebok.

he was a modest man, maybe do something for his fans as a memorial.

i will be really miffed if we dont play with black arm bands next game.

the man was a proper legend, anyone remember the first time they say him shove the keeper in the net for a goal?

well said all, exactly 33 caps 30 goals. i once had the pleasure of meeting him when i was a ball boy, he did a presentation evening for the junior whites. great bloke.
