How you change a throttle cable in a gilera dna 50?

Can be a bit of a fiddly job and you would be much easier following instructions from a manual than it is for someone to try and instruct on here, basicaly it's:-

Fairings off
Unscrew the top of the carb and remove slide
Unclip the cable fom the throttle slide, (be careful and take a photo of how it's held in place to remind you)
Undo the throttle control
Remove cable noting how it's routed

Route the new cable
Replace the cable into throttle slide
slack off any adjustment on the cable
Replace cable into the throttle control
Replace throttle control
Adjust cable

When you remove the throttle slide, be very careful not to knock the tip of the needle.

i was also thinking on taking it to a mechanic?
or isit to simple for that?

I wouldn't take it to a mechanic. They'll overcharge you for what is a very easy job. I quoted £80 from my local garage. I bought the cable for a tenner off the net and took me 15 minutes to fit.
