will slightly pitted forks pass an mot or do the test centre fail it on any pitting?

Hi

Pitting should be fine, but leaks won't and pitted forks tend to trash the seals rapidly so they leak.

no theres no leaks theres just pitting towards the top of the forks, towards the seal side the forks are fine however one of the seals seems slightly damaged.corroded iv put sum sealer on it to cover up the corrosion but despite this theres no leaks at all from the forks. do u think they would pass an mot?

The bit you can see is the dust seal. The hydraulic seal is underneath that
