Sorry, it had to be done!

Seriously though, I agree with you. It was freezing cold this morning, and probably not ideal weather to get back onto the bike after a winter layoff, but looking outside now I'd love to have the Buell here so I could go for a ride.

Looks like its going to be wet for the rest of the week too... Sad

It was a chilly ride home last night. I will be just going to work and back today.

It must be cold out (even though the sun is out), as the paths are still white with frost.

I had a surreal moment this morning, probably due to tiredness more than anything but it certainly made an impression.

Heading West this morning on my usual commute on a large dual carriageway the road seemed to point me straight into the largest, most beautiful moon I've seen for a long time. It was slightly orange but crystal clear and the lack of cars in front added to the surreal feeling...

I experienced a very strange phenomenon today, grip was at least twice as much as usual and I could really get it leant over in the corners. Braking felt much safer and shorter too.

I think it had something to do with the road surfacing. Instead of the usual watery tarmac, it was...well, I can only think of describing it as 'not wet'. I vaguely remember in the past that sometimes roads didn't have this watery layer on, but was beginning to think it was just my imagination.

Going out for a ride at dinnertime to have some fun before whoever it is who decides these things, decides to replace the watery layer again. Thumbs Up

Almost dropped it this morning on a massive sheet of ice as I turned down a backroad. Seems as though the road flooded and froze overnight. Bit of a brown trouser moment, luckily managed to use my leg to push it upright again before it went over.

Only ice I saw on the roads this morning though, and other than that, was lovely to be riding in the dry again Very Happy

I'm currently sitting on my friends steps to his front door, Sun on my face, waiting for my battery to charge so I can try and get home.

I could go inside but I'm pretty coushty sitting out here Smile It's not even slightly chilli, in fact I could probably take the jumper off and still not be cold.

January has been alright for weather so far.

I had that at a zebra crossing earlier today, I was on foot with the mrs and daughter. 3 lanes of traffic and the 2 nearest lanes had stopped. Car drove straight along the outside in lane 3 and waved as if to say oops sorry.

I waved back as if to say screw you. Middle Finger Bit like that.

Thats because you were aiming at them and it was the Taxi drivers quick thinking that saved them by getting in your way.

How many times do we have to tell you. Running people over on the motorbike is illegal. You really have to stop it!
