TCX Competizione S Gore-Tex or go for Alternative?

Just a quick Q, on the verge of buying the TCX Comp S Gore-Tex for £160 +P&P online, have tried on the Sidi Vertigo which are nice looking but don't offer the Gore-Tex or as much ankle support as the TCX.

Would you recommend going for it or would you advise an alternative?

Have seen them and they are quality boots but look massive

Don't know much about them apart from Fabrizio wears them

I love my set.

Love my tcx too. Vertigos do come in goretex too though.

As with all things, the best are the ones that fit. I tried numerous boots and the only ones that were comfortable were the Vertigos, so I bought them. My previous SMXs were like slippers but the new ones just weren't right.

Pointless having dry feet that are killing you, but look great.
