hey guys can ya help us out me dr250 4stroke 1982 modle wit only 21,000km on the clock is playing up,when hot she wont rev and wants to back fire?/any ideas let us know pls

ignition well has a coil lol..was in storage for 12 yrs got her out drained petrol cleaned carb new plug and fired up 2nd kick..did about 20km then would not go,had to hold it at 5000rev in second gear to get home.then doing that it would come good for a sec then back fire and no throttle response.now it starts normal but when hot she farts around and back fires...beat me the bitch of a bike
