Ok as above need to Changing Headset Bearings CBR600 FM
How had is it canb i Put the rear up onto the Paddock Stand and then Lift the front end up Via the Frame with a Engine hoist And drop the front end out ?????

Im changing the Triple clamps for aset of nicely Powder coated ones whiles im putting new bearings in Wink

Im trying to do it so i dont have to remove all the Plastics and Exhaust Headers ect Wink

It's easy, sometimes. Getting the old bottom race off can be a bit of a git. I used to hammer an old chisel in as a wedge to move it slightly, then use tyre levers to remove it totally. Last time I just cut it with a dremel, much easier.

Get a decent drift to remove the old races from the headstock. Put the new races in the freezer for a little while before fitting them.

I use an old steel tube to tap the new bottom race on, don't forget to put the seal on first!!!

I made my own socket up so I can use a torque wrench to set up the new bearings first time rather than sodding about.

Fingers crossed lol,
Triple clamps turned up to day nicely Powder coated Mr. Green
Hopefully the Bearing Kit will be here Tomorrow Wink
