I am currently listening to someone called Naughty Boy ...
Its a song called "Running".
It's alright, actually.

I picked a boy* up from Ealing Studios late last night, who was very charming and chatty and told me he was a drummer, and worked with Naughty Boy - and then he waited for the obligatory acclamations of impressedness from me.

So there was an embarrassing empty gap - at which point in my head I went ("Who?") and out loud I rather lamely went, "... oh, okay ... cool."

He tried again later on in the conversation when he told me that today he had accidentally got himself into session with Ms Banks (Sorry, who??)

So then I had to go and listen to her as well (a song called Get Loose).
And yeah ... she's alright too.
If you like that kind of thing.

'Stereo, out on the streets' - Wired for Sound by Cliff Richard. That is the *loop used on trk1 off the Blanck Mass LP that arrived today.

*Set pitch to -20...play it at 45rpm ...in reverse mode.

Liking it...well how could I not when it has F buttons written all over it. In places it does sound as if he had recently purchased an Akai sampler and went a bit mental with it but the relentless drum rhythms and/or distorted drones always win through...and the crescendos.

The artwork deserves a mention.
Superb.
