Oh I am silly but a Numb twat? That hurts me.

Very Happy

Plus not my fault that a band ripped off a common used phrase. /the defense rests.

Nope, this is the only ablum I own that I enjoy every track. Maybe because it's because I discovered the album (thanks kerrang magazine!!) at one of the happiest points of my life and I associate it with that?
I own albums that have a couple of "meh" tracks that I won't skip out of pure laziness, but a place in the sun is the only one I will sing to the whole way through.

Such a shame they have gone country now.

Nothing wrong with country, but imagine awaiting your fave bands new album and they have gone from happy bouncy pop rock to country.

Oh we all know exactly what you mean....When Ian Astbury starting saying Yeah-ah like he had been American all his life. During The Death Cult era he was all Bradford then when they turned into The Cult and did the 'Electric' LP. Could've punched him.

Oh indeed.

The aptly named long player by This Mortal Coil (an alternative supergroup of its day) called 'It'll End in Tears'. Specifically the Tim Buckley cover 'Song to the Siren' https://youtu.be/HFWKJ2FUiAQ

Ok, so that one had all the right ingredients.

This one? I'm still fathoming out why.

The track is called Rock and Roll by The Velvet Underground.

https://youtu.be/r90t5jE9bzU

Yes, I am now producing tears. Smile

No, not saying it makes me cry. It makes me want to pick up the guitar. In fact, see ya later!

Cavern of anti-Matter.

https://youtu.be/tTDLXC_ml7A

If you want a less Teutonic electronic music that has a flavour of the 70s and smells a little of add (n) to x and whiffs of stereolab.

Listening to demos we made.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DZGBVKJW0AADDh7.jpg

1 of which has the possibility for some collaboration.
He's your traditional singer-songwriter but I get the feeling his singing and the lyrics could be suited to something a tad heavier than an acoustic guitar. He's very good.

I'm treading carefully and being a bit sneaky at the same time.
My devious plan is to get a good take and then have 1 version that is him and the guitar and another that is given the HT treatment i.e FUBAR'd the only way I know how.

He's my protégé and doesn't even know it. Twisted Evil

Plus got 1 of my own bubbling away in my brain virtually every waking hour. Done 4 guitar parts and the Bass. Tweak and polish as I go so the main bulk is done and presentable. Currently getting the feeling what the song is about, got a few lines written that have to be included, it's a fast 171.050 bpm garage rocker but could be a two and half minute part of a larger piece........ which I want to get into.... more of that Oh! where TF is this song going thing.

As always I'm grappling with technology which is time consuming when I learn by reading the manuals then ignoring the manuals and start clicking on everything and hitting undo a lot. Serves well in its own way.

I as most musicians want to sound like 'me' but having said that I've been listening to Orc by (Thee) Oh Sees and (I'm amongst friends right...you won't blab)I imagine myself as their guitarist....There I've said it.

In short like winz we are currently listening to
