Ok so it turns out it was someone called Kate Tempest.

I realised I have heard her before (on this channel, funnily enough) but there's a difference between 2 or 3 minutes of her, and 30 minutes of it.

Sorry, Kate, lovely girl, earnest and all that, but just not my cup-o-tea.

Went on the Friday in Manchester and the Saturday in Sheffield to watch them perform this LP.
Couple of hundred at each.

The recently deceased Bill Rieflin was on drumming duties.

It's been ages since I've listened to the ''classic'' Iron Maiden bits. I might revisit their discography tomorrow, having a day of ~ home office. The very first time I've heard Iron Maiden was in the Carmageddon 2 game on PC, in 1998.

EDIT: I should have the Best of the Beast album somewhere. Thinking
EDIT II: Could not wait, found the album, listening to it now. Razz

Not gonna lie.
Kinda does it for me too.

Today I are been mostly listening to other people talk, laugh, cry, plan.
Bit of a busy day, telephonically speaking.

Will try and get on the end of a bit of music later on, to calm my jangled nerves.

Today, being stuck at home, I revisited one of the bands that I used to listen to a lot, back when I was learning how to play guitar. Def Leppard, I've got the Rock of Ages album here. I used to play the songs and play my guitar along.
