This music improved me.
That is all.

That was their debut. Not 1 bum track.

2nd and 3rd and the album made when they briefly reformed... all songs...every last ####ing one of them are gems.

Some kind of awesome gypsy music (on BBC6 Music, amazing folky hour I think)
I thought it was Italian but perhaps a little more Balkan than that ...

Beardyman on the youtubes. I am often in awe of performers who live in the moment creativity wise, living or dying with one podgy finger hitting the duff noise, or golden zone, that resonates with the crowd, the instant feedback must be what drives them.

Talented bloke, you could create whole genre albums with the stuff he's just throwing away live.

I got a taxi home and when I got in he was playing really nice classical music (violin) which was extremely pleasant.

But after five minutes he changed it to Smooth Radio which was much more horrid. So I frowned ever so slightly and eventually he asked me if I wanted to have another station, so I said "yes, the one you had on when I got in the car was lovely!"

So he changed it back.
It was only Classic FM, which admittedly I haven't listened to for yonks.
I had forgotten how much I like their soft Friday chill out evening session.

Heard a clip of the Strangler's played as background music in some tv thing last week and was gobsmacked when my, fairly musically literate, guitar playing, drumming, vocalist, stepson said he'd never heard of them.
This morning he's waking up to non-stop Strangler's at volume. They really should get more airtime in the lounge. A reminder that Dave Greenfield was an amazing keyboard player.
