yeah in shot by both sides - but i can't stomach magazine

HiMH is a good tune, that's true - i've never quite been sold on diggle's delivery though - i'd have preferred the angst dialled back a notch or several, i think

I did not know (until right now) that :
"Jacques Offenbach – Overture to “Orpheus in the Underworld”
was the real name for the Can-Can.

And what is more, I did not know just how much fun it would be to annoy Dennis the tripod cat to the tune of it.

Plus also :

Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
Done properly is very good bingo-wings exercise Cool

In a considerably more low brow listening session to Dame HK above I have mostly been listening to Body Count on
an Amazon music playlist. Here's a fave from one of his earlier rap albums in a rocked up remix.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMQEkD_rNTM

Don't know or care what key it's in. Laughing

Plus a couple of newer ones.

A Suicidal Tendencies cover. Cool

I fucking love Ice T! Proper OG!

Recently listening to David Tyack...Much missed and for all 'one person does the lot' musicians he stands out.

Its alright, I can also do low-brow - currently listening to Shadrach by the Meastie Moys - as spun by the Blessed Madonna (yes, that one) on BBC Radio 6.

Plus ... this week I have taken the time to listen to some cute little chickie called Griff - it seems like very "nail-bar" music - but lots of people seem to like it, so who am I to judge.

No, although the whole series are pretty feature packed...maybe less fiddly to use than the pocket operators which look great fun too.

[edit]
Somewhere in the back of my mind I read that the pocket operators can sync with volcas if that's useful to you.

Just got through listening to 3 hours of my favourite Rush tracks. It still amazes me that three guys were able to reproduce this music live on stage without any additional pre-recorded tracks:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuHS-gjMiVw

And also, paying penance for my dreadful sin of noting the death of Charlie Watts; you want drum fills? Neil Peart was your man! Laughing

The lyrics of "A Farewell To Kings" (1977) seem poignant and sadly prophetic today:

When they turn the pages of history
When these days have passed long ago
Will they read of us with sadness
For the seeds that we let grow?
We turned our gaze
From the castles in the distance
Eyes cast down
On the path of least resistance
Cities full of hatred
Fear and lies
Withered hearts
And cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons
Dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude
And scoffing at the wise
The hypocrites are slandering
The sacred halls of truth
Ancient nobles showering
Their bitterness on youth
Can't we find
The minds that made us strong?
Oh, can't we learn
To feel what's right and what's wrong? What's wrong
Cities full of hatred
Fear and lies
Withered hearts
And cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons
Dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude
And scoffing at the wise
Whoa, can't we raise our eyes
And make a start?
Can't we find the minds
To lead us closer to the heart?
