^^^Mainly punk bands did the 'Pay No More Than' thing although I recall LPs by Gong and Faust on sale for 99p.
I have a few.

This came out today. An anger fuelled mixture of poetic bile with dry drum beats and synths.

If your bitterness hasn't been washed-out over the years you'll appreciate this.

I'm listening to an Audible podcast about relaxation/sleep, and for some reason there is one by this Diddy character. One of the reviews said "I can't possibly listen to this and take him seriously cos I know his voice" - but happily I have never actually paid him much attention, so it just sounds like some random American man with a funky down -home voice, and its surprisingly peaceful. He keeps telling me I deserve this rest. Yes, Diddy, I do deserve it: I've worked very hard saving the NHS today (and failing as usual) but I do indeed deserve it.

Is this some person who usually talks about icing his hos or something?

Yes its very corny, but also it is actually quite relaxing.

The last recording I listened to before this one was some Greek bint who I expect probably was also very restful. But lately I've been irritated by a heavily Greek-accented woman very badly explaining Microsoft 365 when I was urgently trying to learn it - and so I have no patience for the accent right now.
