I'm struggling to find the correct amount of engine/gearbox oil for my megelli 125m , I cant find it online and it isn't in the handbook :S

I haven't changed her oil since buying her but I asume the oil in there will be the correct ammount and was thinking even though im 500 mabey even a 1000 miles over a change I could drop the oil thats in her, measure it and replace it that way. Just wanted to make sure this is an acceptable way as I am unsure if the engine could have "burnt" off and or any other complication are with this way. Many Thanks

Usually the amount is stamped on the engine casing in the area of the filler.
