Mobile speed camera

OK, so riding to work this morning on my bike, probably doing over the 70MPH speed limit.

I'm sat in the outside lane behind someone doing the same speed, they pull over to the left and i overtake, just as i overtake i am alongside the mobile speed camera.

I think i was sat behind the car when he had his gun on the traffic so it's less likely that he was clocking me, but what im wondering is wether he could have got my plate?

It was a mobile gun on the back of a police motorcycle, i checked my mirrors as i went past him and towards the next bend and i could not see him turn around to write anything down, they dont have forward facing cameras do they?

At the speed I was travelling at i would imagine it would be difficult to turn around and write my plate details down?

Any thoughts?
