Two part post really

First problem I have is the inability to separate the side fairings from the centre screw at the bottom. (Where the fairings meet at the front)
It had obviously taken a weather beating and didn’t budge, resulting in rounding off the inside. So how would I go about getting this out? It’s hard to reach and fairly small as you may well know.

Secondly I’m after some guesstimates of prices for fairing repairs. So if you have had fairings repaired, could you describe how big/bad the damage was and how much you paid...so I can get an idea of how much I’d be expecting.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Are we talking the bolt at the very very bottom that links a side fairing to the V piece?

I guess you could drill it out? Those fairing bolts are pretty small though

Had to coerce a fairing bolt off with a drill the other day - my tip if you go down that route would be to stop very frequently to cool it with lots of water - its very easy to melt a fairing with a hot bolt! Neutral

Mine had a set of gold bolts on it when i bougt the bike but that is the second i have had to drill out and still need to do some more to get everything fully split up before i can put it all back together gain with some nicely greased stainless replacements

You're right, it's that one. Just didn't want to make matters worse.
