Exhaust Options for ZZR600 2001 E model?

I've been looking around and can only seem to find a few - was wondering if anyone here could lend a hand?

I'm after either a 4-2-1 (it would just be the link pipes and can) or a 4-2-2 (again, just link pipes and can)

I want something that would sound a bit nicer than stock, and maybe offer a performance gain too..

All of the above are Delkevic - Never heard of them before?


When I went to a breakers, I saw a 4-2-1 with a Micron can? Is there anything else available that I'm missing / can't find?

My budget is £300~ inc delivery

Also looking at the adverts it says ZZR 600 ZZR 400? so i assume they'd be interchangable? would anyone be able to show me a few alternatives for my budget?

If you go 4-2-1 then you're going to get a flatspot in the rev range.

As you can tell there isn't really much of a choice. I know motad do downpipes and cans.

I'll be honest though, unless your downpipes have rotten through then you are wasting your money.

ZZR600D = ZZR400K
ZZR600E = ZZR400N

They're just sleeved down versions of the 600.

wait and see if you can get anything second hand.

I guess I just think you'll be dissapointed if you spend 300 quid on an exhaust system for the ZZR. I know at least one person has stubbied their original cans, and if all you're looking for is perhaps a nicer sound then you could give that a go. I think they only did it by an inch or so. It's worth a shot when the stock cans are so cheap.
