how long do you reckon the battery will last running a total loss system?

The rev counter keeps jumping between 1 and 5k. its not got a normal starter circuit but this shouldnt affect this right? Im guessing its either a low battery, clocks or the crank speed sensor?

Is it an aftermarket tacho? I used to wire my aftermarket tach into the sidelight connector on my Hornet for trackdays, and if I forgot to turn the 'lights' on the needle would go mental when you revved it. Does it definitely have power to it?

Someone has fvkked about with the throttle sensor. You can actually reset that. That's assuming it's not been junked.
