Everytime i go to watch a video, use fb chat or use anything using flash, chrome/ie just freezes. No updates have been made to the laptop for a while. I've tried turning off and on again (just incase). Checked on flash players website and it says chrome is using the newest version.
Any ideas why it's started doing this?

Fans clogged on the heatsink. 5 minute job if you get someone who knows what they are doing.

Not a 5 minute job at all on a HP dv6....
Involves removing:
All covers
Hard drive
Keyboard
Screen
Motherboard
Then you get to the fan....
Basically you need to take apart everything that can be taken apart. Evil or Very Mad

Lucky he hasn't got an HP dv6.

Even quicker than taking covers off is compressed air with a long straw nozzle.
