Connecting PC speakers to TV/Sky+HD?

Hey peeps.

Despite being quite technically minded, have never attempted this.

Bought a half decent 5.1 system for the PC years ago made by Creative.

TV is a 32" Samsung flatscreen, sound is absolutely SHITE. Basically don't need 5.1 as yet, but would like to make a 2.1 configuration with the sub and two speakers to make watching movies and drama a bit more involving.

At present have a green connector for the two speakers and a black (I think) connector for the sub, are there any adapters that can make these plug into either the TV or SkyHD box?

I am gonna be buying a Bluray home cinema system in the next 6 months, but not sure I can bare watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show again with pants sound.

Does your surround have an Optical input?

both, Cable from Skybox to your 5.1 system will do it.
